Adventures in CES Land

Welcome to Adventures in CES Land, where the syllabus is long, the caffeine flows freely, and the journey through Counselor Education and Supervision is anything but boring. Whether you’ve accidentally wandered in while searching for APA 7th edition tips or you’re a fellow CES explorer looking for solidarity, I’m so glad you’re here.

I created this space as a kind of map-in-progress. It’s a way to document the highs, the lows, the “did-I-just-say-that-in-supervision?” moments, and everything in between. I’ll be sharing reflections from my time as a CES student, stories from the field, teaching ideas, supervision wins (and whoopsies), and opportunities like scholarships, fellowships, and conferences that I stumble across and want to pass along.

You can expect a mix of:

• Real talk about being a student and professional at the same time
• Thoughts on growing as a counselor, educator, supervisor, and human
• Resources, tips, and golden nuggets I collect along the way
• Humor, heart, and the occasional dissertation-fueled ramble

My hope is that this blog becomes a little beacon of connection for students, new professionals, future CESers, and maybe even that one person out there trying to figure out if this path is right for them. (Spoiler: it probably is.)
