Ok, ok, I’ve been lagging. Has it really been since May that I last posted? Wow!
I do have a good excuse (or several). First, the quarter wrapped up. Then summer started. Then I swore I was going to get serious about the NCMHCE exam prep… and, well, that didn’t exactly happen.
It’s easy to just shrug and say, “I’m a procrastinator.” But honestly, life happened. My kids were home for summer. One was getting ready for college, the others had a ton going on, and of course, they came first (rightfully so!)
Still, if I’m being real: there were plenty of moments when I could have studied, or blogged, or buried myself in research… and I just didn’t. That said, it was still a productive summer in its own way: I focused on my internship (lots of teaching, some research), and for the next couple weeks I’m planning to ease back into research mode and preparing for fall.
Which brings me to the actual point of this post:
Monday, September 1 is the last day to send proposals for 2026 ACA Conference, happening April 9-11 in Columbus, Oh.
If you read all the way to here, thank you! If not, I hope you at least got the bolded part, which is the part where I am not rambling.
If you’ve read this far, thank you! If not, I hope at least your eyes landed on the bolded part because that’s the bit that actually matters!
